Supported Languages
The Sippy Softswitch supports the following languages. If you find errors or inconsistencies in a translation, then please notify us by opening a ticket with support.

Adding additional languages.
Sippy Software can be engaged to add support for additional languages upon request.
Customers can either assist Sippy in producing the translation files and recording the audio prompts.
Alternatively, customers can elect to cover the cost for Sippy Software to engage a third party translation agency to produce the translated language files and voice prompts.
Process for customer assisted translations of IVR Audio Prompts
- Open a new support ticket stating that you wish to produce a translation of the IVR Audio Prompts
- Support will send you a "po" file for your language. This file is to be used as a template, translate all the English text and phrases to your elected language.
- Send back the completed PO file to us using the original support ticket.
- Developers will create a software module called "Text To Speech" or TTS which converts numbers, dates and durations into their written representation in your language (for example the English TTS module converts the number 123 into the string "one hundred twenty three"). Developers will send you the phrases generated by the TTS module for review. Any errors and inconsistencies are fixed.
- Support will send a full list of phrases in the chosen language that must be recorded by a voice actor to a professional standard.
- Return the recorded audio files to Support
- Sippy Support will then integrate the newly recorded sound files into the IVR system.
Process for customer assisted translations of Web Application Text
- Open a new support ticket stating that you wish to produce a translation of the Sippy Softswicth web application.
- Support will send you a "po" file for the English language. This file is to be used as a template, convert all the English text and phrases to your elected language.
- Send back the completed PO file to us using the original support ticket.
- Sippy Support will then integrate the new language into the Sippy Softswicth web application.
